Sports Clips defeated Pipes Gym 15-6 in Thursday's Little League Baseball AAA city championship game at Northeast's Wilson Field. Both teams were representing Northeast Little League.
Sports Clips outhit Pipes Gym 18-8 on the evening, led by Kemper Shepardson, who had multiple hits and four stolen bases. Mikey McGuire, Patrick Max, Dean Chritz, Garrett Buter, and Tanner Spaulding each also had multiple hits, while Sports Clips played error-free defense in the field.
Joseph Kroll went 2-for-3 with a run batted in for Pipes Gym, while David Griggs, Colin Long, and Andrew Steele each also had an RBI.
